How did you get to where you are today?
It's such a cliche, but working as hard as I could, following up every lead, working for free, e-mailing people and speaking to everyone I could... also reading everything and anything. That's so important.

What are your working  wardrobe gems?

An A-Line skirt, some chunky soled loafers or brogues, a blazer.

What is the best piece of advise you have ever been given?

Pick your battles!

If you could edit your past, what would you change?

I wouldn't. Learn from it, however painful.

     What  makes you happy?

Lying in bed with the newspapers and a coffee on a Sunday morning; having my friends over for dinner, laughing with my family. I mean really typical things but they are what motivate me to be happy.

     What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Sugar. Shopping. Massages. Taxis!

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?

Taylor Swift, the late Marina Keegan, Leandra Medine and Karl Lagerfeld. They are all people who interest me.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?

Be yourself. Cos you 'aint got a chance of being someone else.

And finally, tell us how do you wear a white shirt?
With high-waisted raw hem jeans, leather trousers, or a mini skirt.
